Ver asked him if it is right to censor outside Bitcoin area members. Addressing that, Somsen said that Bitcoin Money as well as Bitcoin Core neighborhoods point of views are conflictual. As a result, he thinks that moderation is called for in such groups. Nevertheless, Somsen likewise points out that small amounts does not mean its against freedom of expression.
He added, “I think it readies if we have multiple locations that permit various opinions and different views in different places because Bitcoin money remaining in conflicts with that of individuals that favor the Bitcoin Core … So if you place those communities with each other, that’s kind of dreadful right? There’s going to be a lot of combating and there seem to be some essential differences that to me feels like it’s best you simply split them up and also have r/BTC, r/Bitcoin and I think that’s a terrific solution.”
After a hefty dispute on the topic, Ver took place to speak about the initial Bitcoin whitepaper compiled by Satoshi Nakamoto. Describing which Ver asked if the whitepaper titled ‘a peer-to-peer electronic cash system’ stands for Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash.
Somsen answered it stating that it is irrelevant and furthermore, he stated that the summary of the whitepaper is practically difficult or a minimum of debatable, for that reason, to diverge from the literal phrasings of the whitepaper makes good sense.
